After studying fine art, art history, and working in fashion in Montreal, Sophie moved to Northern California in 2016, where she delved into interior spaces. Living in the Bay Area for years, she worked in custom furniture and interior design within a small Oakland-based studio. During those years, she worked with this team abroad in Europe sourcing vintage furniture, decor, and textiles and fostering creative experiences with fellow designers. She went on to join the design team at Airbnb to create Airbnb Plus in San Francisco and soon thereafter, expanded the platform nationwide with their small principal team of creatives. Upon returning to Vermont in 2020, she has been operating her self-owned Design business, working with clients from coast to coast.
